What will you learn/ taste/ do/ take home?
We will begin with some kombucha tasting of a few of my most popular flavours, & an introduction to what it is & its benefits.
Then we’ll make some… You’ll be given your very own home grown scoby (the starter culture) which can then be used to infinity to make as many more batches as you’d like in whichever flavour(s) you choose.
Then we’ll have a break – tea/ more kombucha/ lions mane milk etc. & naturally, some chocolate truffles, before moving onto ginger beer/ root beers.
I will have samples of my ginger beer, turmeric beer & a dandelion & burdock-esque immune tonic. After another tasting session we’ll make some ginger beer & I’ll talk you through the process of finishing up at home once they’ve finished fermenting.
Recipes of all the drinks sampled will be provided, as well as all ingredients, & because you will be going away with not only your own kombucha & ginger beer but both starter cultures, you’ll be set up to make them all again & again, &/or experiment with your own creations if you choose.
The only thing you’ll need to bring are kilner jars (size specified on booking).
Because the course will be held at my lovely new home, there will be a comfortable relaxed atmosphere with everything needed easily to hand.
I’ll have space for 6 people, & booking is essential.
