Natural toothpaste & mouthwash

To cut a long story short, I fell for the ‘use fluoride or your teeth will rot out of your head in a day’ myth & still had constant bother with my teeth for 34 years. Then I took a leap of faith& started making my own toothpaste while I healed my teeth with nutrition – including a wisdom tooth that was heading for extraction. I consider fluoride an evil neurotoxin which also plays havoc with our already losing-the-plot thyroids. The warning on toothpastes though to ‘call poison control’ if you ingest more than the ‘safe’ amount hints to me that I’m not alone in my suspicions. Anyway, that was 7 years ago& I’ve not had a single problem since. My (now ex) dentist gave me nothing but an eye roll when I relayed my discoveries of phytic acid, fat-soluble vitamins& electrolyte balance, that she could maybe pass on to help others. She also didn’t see the funny side when I gave her a few light-hearted suggestions of where she could stick her drill.
